About Dimple Whisky
Dimple is a blended Scotch whisky brand that first came to market in 1893, produced by John Haig & Co., whose Cameronbridge distillery in Fife, Scotland, was founded in 1824.
The bottle
Since its launch, Dimple has been sold in a distinctive three-sided, lozenge-shaped bottle with pinched sides. In the United States, the brand has long been sold under the name ‘Dimple Pinch’ for this reason. In 1958, the bottle became one of the first containers to be trademarked by the US Patent Office.
Today
The Dimple® trademark is today owned by Diageo plc. Over the years, Dimple has been released in different expressions, including 12 Year Old and 15 Year Old age statements as well as no-age-statement blends such as Golden Selection.
